Fish Out Of Water

What happens when you take a couple of urban Indians out of their comfortable city environment and drop them smack dab in the middle of traditional Aboriginal culture?

You get Fish Out of Water. The award winning show features Ojibway com...edian Don Kelly and currently airs on APTN. In Season 4, join fabulous, Gemini nominated host, Don Kelly along with Cree comic, Dawn Dumont. as they travel to native communities across Canada and the United States to try their hand at traditional survival skills that sustained Native people in the past and still continue today. Don and co-host Dawn are thrown off their comfy couches and into the great outdoors to experience new adventures, trials and tribulations and, hilarity and high jinks with Aboriginal peoples across Turtle Island.

The SICC was contacted for the show and filming for the show was done over the past weekend, July 21-23. We won’t know until the new year when the show will air, but check back for updates and other info bits.
